Thanks for voting. I was reading the comments this morning and didn't realize that was you posting until I saw the word "booch." You're such a grumpy old man.
When I thought of the idea for the shirt I was half asleep half awake and it came to me as clear as you see it on the webpage. When I woke up I sketched it out and then refined it on the computer. The meaning is, obviously, up for interpretation.
It reads "Love is the Secret of the Sun." Secret is backwards to emphasize the semantic and syntactic relationship between form and content.
Visually it illustrates the simultaneous power yet subtlety of tertiary color. Reflecting the way the Sun and Love, two symbolic clichés that fall into the background of everyday life, yet are simultaneously the two most powerful things in this world that no one could live without. Modern society does not place enough importance on either of these forces. Which I feel have more to do with each other than most people think.
I think Cecil should make his much-anticipated return to the t-shirt biz on this website. If Cecil chooses to remain in hiding in his South African asylum for his alleged crack binges, can I at least get some of his graphics??? Perhaps even a short film he might have starred in??? It should be noted that I prefer his earlier work.
I think I have a touch of the dislexic in me. I had no clue that on the shirt secret was actually backwards. Until I read brad's "terceS" I didn't even get it. Find something wierd out every day.

Color threory lesson of the day:
Tertiary color is the mixture of a primary and adjacent secondary color.
