Built To Spill has announced an album release date of april 11th (it's been 5 years since thier last album). They also are streaming one new song on myspace.

If the rest of the album sounds anything like "Going against your mInd" then it is sure to be a great peace of music.
I love that BTS releases a single and it's a sprawling guitar solo that has no chance of any radio play. I can't beleive WB hasn't dropped them yet. There are barely any lyrics but when they do sing the lyrics are great:
when i was a kid i saw a light
floating high above the trees one night
thought it was an alien
turned out to be just god
