TVOTR
TV on the Radio
I am the biggest fan that didn't realize I was a fan... until last night.
I haven't heard their first album yet (other than live), I ripped it from my friend, but the CD didn't work, which explains why I haven't posted it. Anyway, I have been listening to their new album Return to Cookie Mountain. And I have to say that I liked it, but didn't love it. I've decided that I have just been listening to them too softly. I need to crank it when I listen. You should do the same.
So, yea, I went to the show last night, and I must say it was fucking awesome. Fucking awesome!! Every song that they played, that I recognized from their 2nd album, was very different from the album version; they were all better. The stuff that I didn't recognize was just as good. They rocked. They put out such great energy at their show, that you can't help but move around with them.
Anyway, I don't really know how to put it, other than go see them when they're in your town! They are in NC on 4/15 and in DC on 4/18 and 4/19. They also have a show in Nashville, for those in OH that want to make a road trip.
I'll definitely be getting their first album (a working copy) very soon. I'll post it.

TVOTR quickly became one of my favorite bands last year with the release of Return to Cookie Mountain. I'm a bit jealous of your concert experience and a bit pissed that they are not coming anywhere near shitty akron ohio.
