Hmmmm... so, in about a decade, when these machines become obsolete (you know they will), the US will probably be selling these to all types of buyers, and undoubtedly will fall into the wrong hands, and eventually terrorize the US, without any way to stop them.
This is fucking crazy! So, now you can shoot anyone you want without fear of being shot in the act... cuz you can be controlling it from the other side of the world.

The idea of robots patrolling streets is really scary. Not only do have Boyd's scenario but you also have no accountability for these machines. The idea that U.S. troop deaths are more important than the 700,000 dead Iraqis is already commonly accepted. What happens when machines kill civilians in Iraq? There will be no reaction from the states at all. Robotics will be able to kill with no repercussions. The military will be able to right civilian deaths off as a robotic mistake without public outcry. Who can blame of machine for killing someone? It was a computer glitch sir, it was an accident. The writing's on the fucking wall for me on this one. It's buy design to erase any thought that killing enemy civillians that are against "us" is wrong. Just wait until they are used against protestors in the states.
