...and good luck. It seems as though the site is fairly bogged down. I can't get the damn thing to work...

I haven't been able to get very far either, though it's faster today (10/11).
San Francisco's LIVE 105 is letting you listen to all of the tracks on their website. So you can at least listen to the album, while continuing attempts to download it.
Check it out here:

I was able to download it and I've listened to it about 3 times now. It's a fantastic album. It's good to see that they are still a solid band and that the music rises above it's unique distribution.

After you listen all the way through pay attention to how you feel. Really pay attention. It sounds ridiculous but this album has a strange physilogical/psycological effect on me. (Also, bodysnatchers is an amazing track).

So, How much did you pay?

Yea... MUCH faster today 10/12. It was like night and day. Just downloaded it. I've only listened to it on my work computer, which pretty much means I HAVEN'T listened to it yet. I'll throw it on the ipod and give it a REAL listen and let you know.
I chose to pay 2LB, which, after credit card charge is about $5. You?

I paid 10.01 because I wanted the number to be binary. It's worth every last quid.

I paid nothing but now I feel like a jerk because the album is so freaking good. I think I will get Thom's address and send him a check in the mail.

He lives in Oxford, England, so you better make the check pretty fat, since you'll pay a pretty penny just to get it there.

You know... you could just "download" it again, and pay for it this time, and then not download it at all, since you've already downloaded it. Just a thought.

Anyway, he's obviously fairly well-off, so I doubt your little $10 check (5 lbs) is gonna make much difference to him. Instead, why don't you send it to me?

or to me. I am after all paying all the hosting costs.

Oh, and I'm not the only nerd. Radiohead obviously considered the binary angle. The album has 10 tracks, it was announced on 10/01 and was released on 10/10.

And what are those hosting costs??
I'll buy you a few beers next time you're in town...

It's roughly $100 per year. No big deal though, because last year I put the ads on the site and they almost exactly covered the costs... but I'll still take you up on those beers.
