Sorry for the delay
October's discs are being mailed today. My itunes organized all the songs into folders. By the time I figured out how top keep this from happening; I already made most of the discs. This should not really be a problem and if it is I will resend cd's to all that require them.
One idea I had and wanted to throw out to everyone is that if everyone has a DVD drive on their computer, then sending mp3 DVD's may be an option. I know that I have many complete discographies and could share those. For instance, if anyone wants the complete Tool, Pennywise, Primus, NOFX, etc. then we could make that happen.
I no longer have access to, but have used Emule for a P2P service. This is a freeware version of Edonkey without any spyware and I have yet to get any kind of viruses. I encourage everyone to check it out.
That being said, I hope everyone enjoys this months selections.

Ever since the whole ad-ware / spyware craze hit, and my old desktop was rendered completely useless (until I formatted my hard drive and started completely over), I completely wrote-off every P2P service. It really wasn't worth it to me to go thru all that bullshit, just so I could get free music. That said, I really really really enjoyed getting free music. But not just because I love sticking it to the man. I loved being able to hear a full album (as opposed to the 15-second snip you can sample at amazon) without having to pay $15 every time. With all the crap that's coming out these days (even from reputable groups), you (pretty much) never know what you're getting.
Anyway, I'd be interested to hear more about this P2P service, if it is clean of adware and spyware. Anyone else used this before, or know of others that are pretty reliable??
You should research Emule. The guy that put it together worked on Edonkey and then split off thinking that he could improve on it. The cool thing is that you can download large zipped files that contain entire albums or discographies.
I no longer have access to use it at work and I don't have internet at home , so I'm S.O.L.
i'm cool with dvd discs
Actually, I don't have a DVD drive... and I still have to use the hand crank on my notebook to power-up every few hours.
