D: some answers...
The singer from Muse is not Thom Yorke from Radiohead, but I think he wants to be. However, they are both skinny English blokes.
2na is only on one Roots Manuva track as far as I know.
The Beta Band has several albums out. "The Three EPs" is by far their best and probably the only one worth picking up. They broke up immediately after the release of their last album because, well, it sucked. They had a lot of potential and thanks to the The Three EPs were critical darlings, but they never really made it farther than that.
John Bull is not on Bovaquarium although he should've been.
The Notwists are pretty decent, they are really mellow and I only included my favorite track. If you want the album let me know and I'll hook you up.
Super Furry Animals are amazing live, go see them if you get the chance. They tour with all their own speakers and sound equipment and play in "3D" sound, so the whole concert spins around you, it's sweet. Plus they have a live VJ mixing video while they play. Pick up the DVD for Rings Around the World; they made a video for every song on the album and it's in 5.1.
Bill Hicks is my comedic hero, I love him. "Today a young man on acid realized that all matter is mearly energy condensed through a slow vibration, we are all one consciousness experiencing itself subjectively, life is only a dream and we are the imaginations of ourselves. Here's Tom with the weather."
Air is a great great band, probably the best french band ever.
And no, you're not a pussy if you like Elliott Smith, but Brad is.
