Benjamen Walker's Theory of Everything

Benjamen Walker's Theory of Everything is an excellent podcast. Dylan, I especially think you will like it. It's the only podcast I get excited about listening to when it first comes out.

Hahaha!! (slumber party girls)

One of our generous advertisers, Slumber Party Girls, has a website that is not to be missed. As if 23 year old women pretending to be 15 singing about their first period wasn't funny enough their see-thru pre-packaged corporate teenage rebellion anthem has hilarious lyrics:

I won't be late to school
It's cause I really care about it
I will play by the rules
won't be a primadona

Haha!!! Go to this site now! It's funny as fuck!

You're Not Your Khaki's: The new site

As you notice I've updated the site with a new look to reflect our new format. What exactly that format is, well, it's up to you. The concept is to bring a network of people, that once saw each other regularly but now due to geography are unable to maintain contact, together to post rants, links, videos, pictures, questions, etc. The more posts the better. Also, invite your friends to participate. The more people we have contributing the better the site will be.

As for music, well, I think we can continue to share, however, we should do it a bit differently. In the past I've posted links for downloads. This may be a better way to share in the future. No schedule, no obligations, no CDs or post offices, just post when you hear something you like. I'll start it off by sharing a link to Stones Throw Records collaboration with Adult Swim, Chrome Children. To post a download you can either contact me and use my FTP site or use a one-click file sharing service.

Please post any feedback or other ideas for the site. I'm going to send out an invite to a bunch of people later today.

The Future of the Club?

Not sure if anyone really visits here anymore and I was just wondering how everyone feels about the future of the club. Sending and receiving discs of music has been great fun for the past however long but maybe now it's time to reevaluate this site. There haven't been any discs sent in a few months and the posting has dropped out completely. Any ideas for the future or do we just kill the concept all together?

I was thinking it's still a nice place to post links, videos, pictures and stories to share with each other since we are all over the country now. Maybe we kill the music sharing, invite a bunch more friends and use it as a private social networking blog.
