The Little Ones
Last night I cashed in some free iTunes songs courtesy of Continental Airlines. After much hemming and hawing as I sorted through the $500 in my shopping cart I decided to take a chance and download The Little Ones debut EP Sing Song. It was the best decision I made yesterday. It's catchy and fun, full of energy and genuine quality. They will no doubt be compared to The Shins endlessly (The album art is even made by Jesse Ledoux who did the Shins last album). Basically it's well written guitar pop-rock. Simple melodies, yet catchy with just enough of the "now" sound to be relevant but not so much as to be annoying. Check it out if you get the chance. I'm already anticipating their first full length album.

Danger Doom Remix
Head on over to adultswim.com where you can download remixes of the Danger Doom album. They are releasing one song at a time and the entire album will be available by the end of May. The remix of Sofa King is the shiznito-bam-snip-snap-snippy!

Bloc Party
Check out their set from Coachella here. Definitely check out Helicopter, as it's performed even faster than it is on the album.

colbert
A couple weeks ago Stephen Colbert spoke in front of the press and the president at the white house correspondents dinner. I'm sure you've at least seen some clips. Click on the comments for the full transcript, it's priceless.

Sugar Ray are NOT Sellouts!!!
Okay, I'm not sure who will appreciate this, but I know of two (one is Jacob, but he'll never know as he himself is a sellout for not contributing to the Club). I apologize in advance for wasting your time.
So, way back while we were at OU, Jake claimed that "Sugar Ray are NOT sellouts", in response to my claim that if you looked up "sell out" in the dictionary, you'd find a picture of this band. (This was around the time of their gay-ass pop songs like "Fly" and "Every Morning") I used to have one of their first albums, which was much more like hardcore rock (the cover had that sexy bitch from Charles in Charge naked on the cover, I believe). AAAAAAAnyway, long story short, Jacob has since rescinded his claim of Sugar Ray's keepin-it-real...ness. However, we like to continue to hold him to it, and heckle him about it.
Well, I just gained some new ammunition....
My wife (haha) has this awesome habit of flipping through channels while what we're watching is on commercials. And she hit that show "Extra". You know the gay ass Hollywood gossip show.... and I come to find that Mark McGrath (Lead singer of Sugar Ray) is like a host or something..... HAHAHAHAAH.... You No-Talent Bitch!!!!!! What a fucking sellout you are!!! Apparently, this has been going on for some time now, however, I still revel in it....
I HATE YOU, SUGAR RAY...... BUT I LOVE THE FACT THAT YOU'VE STOOPED SOOOOO LOW...... What happened??? You had such a quality career brewing......
That is all...... for now

gnarls barkley
Cee-Lo and Dangermouse are Gnarls Barkley and the album is fantastic. It's a great summer album that sounds better driving around with your windows down.
